	America Antiques & Design is known for its hip and eclectic collections. One such collection is the particularly rare and unique grouping of antique clock faces. We believe it to be the largest collection in the United States, and possibly, the world.
This amazing collection shows the breadth and scope of America's individualistic style. While we have bought and sold large clocks as architectural elements for over 10 years. We have recently acquired a large collection of antique clock tower dials from a private museum located in the Black Forest of Germany.
	These beautifully crafted dials are rare and unusual examples of early European blacksmithing and gilding in the pre-industrial tradition, and had been accumulated over a period of 60 years. The collection includes dials ranging in size from 2 feet in diameter to over ten feet tall!
Styles include enamel, wood, bronze copper and gilt iron. Countries of origin include France, Spain, Austria,Portugal Italy and Germany. In addition to the dials ,We also have the original 18th and 19th century hands, that provide dramatic examples of early gold leafing over hammered iron and molded copper.
